Pictures from the City of Bitola

It is not only the flair and the daily crowded cafés on the so called "Sirok Sokak", which impresses the people, who visit this city. The people of Bitola love their town and say:"There is no better place to live than Bitola." It is an attitude to life. The old traditional architekture of Bitola, which is not only turkish stamped, but also involves the european style of house-building of the 19th century.

If you promenade through the narrow alleys you will recognize the feeling of the people living there. You'll become part of the city, of its brave history and its charme. Close your eyes and with a little bit of imagination you could here the horse-drawn carriage passing by, the consuls talkting to each other in foreign languages and the trademens, who are selling their goods on the bazar.
